Pre/Post Camp

Recreation Camps (Long Center, Morningside, Countryside)
  • Resident Registration: March 7
  • Open Registration: March 8
  • Camp Dates: June 3 - August 9, 2024 No Camp on June 19, July 4
  • All fees include all field trips and a camp t-shirt.
Fees
  • Full Summer Discount Package: Half of camp fees are due at registration with the remainder due by May 16.
    • Recreation Card Plus: $900
    • Clearwater Recreation Card: $1,000
    • No Recreation Card: $1,100
  • Weekly: Will open May 1 if space is still available.
    • Recreation Card: $125
    • Without a Card: $138

    Half of camp fees are due at registration with the remainder due May 17. Scholarships are available to City of Clearwater residents only. Please contact the center for further information. 


Ross Norton & North Greenwood - Supported through a grant from the Juvenile Welfare Board (JWB)
  • Camp Dates: June 3-Aug.9, 2024  No Camp on June 19, July 4
  • Ross Norton Ages 5-12, North Greenwood Ages 11-17
  • Camp Fees: $50 for the entire summer for those who qualify.
  • Participants must attend a Pinellas County School.

  • Registration forms can be picked up at the recreation center.

  • Registration (Ross Norton): March 21

  • Registration (North Greenwood): March 23


    Counselor In Training (C.I.T.) Program:  Young adults entering 8th grade or up who enjoy being a role model for children and are looking for a fun and rewarding way to spend their summer are encouraged to apply for one of our C.I.T. positions. C.I.T.’s are needed at all Clearwater Summer Camp locations and are a valuable part of our camp team. Call the recreation center of your choice to set up an interview.  

  • Cost: $150 with a Recreation Card, or $165 without a card for the entire summer.
