Pre/Post Camp

• Dates: May 29
• Locations: Countryside Recreation Center,  and Morningside Recreation Center
• Ages: Children entering grades 1-6
• Camp Fees: $27 with a Recreation Card/$30  without a card per day.

Recreation Camps (Long Center, Morningside, Countryside)

• Resident Registration: March 9 (6 a.m.)-For full summer only.
• Open Registration: March 10 (6 a.m.)-For full summer only.
• Registration for specific weeks begins May 4, if space is available.
• Camp Dates: June 1 - Aug. 7
• No camp June 19 and July 3
• All fees include all field trips and a camp t-shirt.

Fees

• Full Summer Discount Package: Half of camp fees are due at registration with the remainder due by May 16.
  • Recreation Card Plus: $990
  • Clearwater Recreation Card: $1,125
  • No Recreation Card: $1,350
  • Registration begins March 9
• Weekly: Full payment due upon registration     
  • Recreation Card: $135
  • Without a Card: $150
  • Registration begins May 4

  Half of camp fees are due at registration, with the remainder due May 17. Scholarships are available to City of Clearwater residents only. Please contact the center for further information.

Ross Norton - Supported through a grant from the Juvenile Welfare Board (JWB)

• Camp Dates: June 1-Aug. 7
• No camp June 19 and July 3
• Ross Norton Ages 5-12
• Camp Fees: $75 for the entire summer for those who qualify.
• Participants must attend a Pinellas County School.
• Registration (Ross Norton): March 26 (10 a.m.)

 

North Greenwood-Supported through a grant from the Juvenile Welfare Board (JWB)

• Camp Dates: June 1-Aug. 7
• No camp June 19 and July 3

• Camp Fees: $75 for the entire summer for those who qualify.

• Participants must attend a Pinellas County School.

• Elementary School Program Registration – March 19 starting at 10 a.m.
• Middle and High School Program Registration – March 28 starting at 9 a.m.

Counselor In Training (C.I.T.) Program:

Responsible young adults entering 8th grade or up who enjoy being a role model for children and are looking for a fun and rewarding way to spend their summer are encouraged to apply for one of our C.I.T. positions. C.I.T.’s are needed at all Clearwater Camp locations and are a valuable part of our camp team. Call the recreation center of your choice to set up an interview. Cost: $200 with a Recreation Card, or $250 without a card for the entire summer. Sign up for the CIT program here or using the QR code below.

Summer Camp Counselor

A Clearwater summer camp counselor leads recreational activities, ensures a safe and engaging environment, and serves as a positive role model for youth throughout the program. Counselors support daily programming such as games, arts and crafts, and field trips. Apply today!
