Moccasin Lake Nature Park

Moccasin Lake is a 51-acre nature preserve with trails and boardwalks under a canopy of mature oaks and across ponds and creeks, with an array of wildlife, including gopher turtles, raccoons, and many birds. It is home to several injured birds of prey. The park offers classes, programs, camps and meeting/reception rentals with both indoor and outdoor meeting space. Learn more about the different animals and habitats at the park in the Moccasin Lake Discovery Center.

No pets permitted inside the park with the exception of guide or service dogs.

No fishing permitted inside the park.

 


 


How to Get to Moccasin Lake Nature Park

From North Pinellas

Take US 19 S and exit toward FL-60/Gulf to Bay/Drew Street. Turn left onto Drew Street. Turn left on Fairwood Avenue. At the traffic circle, take the third exit onto Park Trail Lane. 

From South Pinellas

Take US 19 N and exit toward Drew Street. Turn right on Drew Street. Turn left on Fairwood Avenue. At the traffic circle, take the third exit to Park Trail Lane.
