Long Center Pool Closed for Renovations

The Long Center Pool is closed for renovations for more than a year as of Feb. 18. During this time, all other amenities at the Long Center and Aging Well Center remain open. The outdoor heated pools at Ross Norton and Morningside recreation centers offer lap swim and other swim programs.

The Long Center Natatorium Renovation Project began Feb. 18, 2025, and the pools and natatorium indoor pool enclosure will reopen to the public July 31 at 3 p.m. A welcome-back pool party will feature free snow cones, local community organizations, giveaways, behind-the-scenes tours and more.

The Long Center has plenty of amenities, including a fitness center, a gymnasium for basketball/volleyball, an Olympic-size pool, a heated training pool, soccer fields, and a playground.

Aging Well Center @ The Long Center

The Aging Well Center facilitates services and activities promoting a high quality of life for our community’s older adults.

Coachman Ridge Park

Near Northeast Coachman Park, this park has two tennis courts, a colorful playground, a racquetball area, a paved walking trail and a boardwalk over a scenic Florida pond.

Sunshine Limitless Playground

The Sunshine Limitless Playground Park, at 1501 N Belcher Road, is adjacent to the Long Center. The playground was renovated to replace aging play features and install new playground equipment.
