Special Events Permitting Workshop
The city of Clearwater's Special Events team permits more than 170 special events throughout the city every year. These events range in size, location, and theme, and all of them add something special to make Clearwater beautiful from bay to beach.
If you are interested in learning how to host your event in Clearwater, or if you have questions about the permitting process, staff will be hosting a Public Special Event Permitting Workshop from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2025. This workshop will be hosted in the Council Chambers at the Clearwater Main Library, located at 100 N. Osceola Ave. in Clearwater.
City staff will review certain topics including when a special event permit is needed, the definition of a special event, and the step-by-step permitting process, to prepare you for when you are ready.
