Long Center Pool Closed for Renovations

The Long Center Pool is closed for renovations for more than a year as of Feb. 18. During this time, all other amenities at the Long Center and Aging Well Center remain open. The outdoor heated pools at Ross Norton and Morningside recreation centers offer lap swim and other swim programs.

Dialogues of the Carmelites

In this gorgeous opera, written by Francis Poulenc, a sect of Carmelite nuns was guillotined when they refused to denounce their vocation. This story is a fictional depiction of the actual events of the French Revolution. The free performance is presented by Operas for Earth and is sung in English. There will also be a pre-performance talk by Carmelite Order.
