Clearwater takes pride in providing easy access to recreational facilities for its residents and visitors. With a recreation center near almost every neighborhood, there's always something fun to do, no matter where you are in the city.

Get a Recreation Card

A Clearwater recreation card provides access to all of Clearwater's premier recreation centers, pools, athletic facilities and other recreational programs at a reduced rate or for free.

Clearwater Beach Library & Recreation Complex

The Clearwater Beach Recreation Complex is the only recreation center located on the beach and is combined with the Clearwater Beach Library. The center is most known for its premier free pickleball courts and ability to host both small and large-scale events in its social hall.

Countryside Recreation Center

The Countryside Rec Center offers a host of amenities. There are plenty of things for the kiddos to do at the recreation center, including a giant playground!

Long Center

The Long Center has plenty of amenities, including a fitness center, a gymnasium for basketball/volleyball, an Olympic-size pool, a heated training pool, soccer fields and a playground.

Morningside Recreation Complex

Morningside Recreation Complex includes a playground, lighted tennis courts, lighted basketball courts, outdoor pool, children's activity pool, a double gymnasium, and a fitness center. The playground area is lighted and mulch-based and includes infant and youth swings.
